We are so excited, Here’s what you’ll need to know!
What to wear
For starters, think about a soft color palette with soft and flowing fabrics. Go for simple with one statement piece. Too many accessories can be distracting, we want the focus to be on you!
I always recommend mamas start with their outfit first! You can pick colors from your outfit to coordinate with your family. Think coordination not matching! Monochromatic tones can really make an unexpected impact.
You really want something that you feel beautiful in! I usually recommend mom's wear something that you feel comfortable sitting or standing in. Comfort is key.
For your little ones, I also recommend soft and comfy. We are definitely fans of sweet little rompers/jumpers and classic timeless looks.
***Some of the things we try to avoid are cargo pants/shorts, baggy oversized clothing, logos, writing, and polo style shirts. We also like to avoid matching white shirts and jeans. Everyone is unique so we’d like to show that!

Barefoot is best!
It sounds weird, but I promise this makes the image look so much more warm and inviting.
If you want to wear shoes, that’s okay too. We just ask that you make sure they are clean and free of any outside yuckiness.
soo… what if we really want to wear matching Christmas outfits?
If that’s your thing, go for it! We give you suggestions on clothing that will work for photos, but it really comes down to what you want to remember!
What time should we arrive
Please arrive at least five minutes but no more than ten minutes before your scheduled time slot. Please please please do not be late! In order to get the most out of your session we need you to be on time and ready. Please do not bring extra bags and things into the studio. Just bring what you will want photographed!
Where is the session
We will be doing the session in our studio. We will ask you to wait in the waiting room until we bring you into the studio. Be sure to take your coats off and be ready to shoot!
don’t forget to book your viewing appointment!
We will have a calendar with a sign up sheet for your viewing appointment. That’s where you will come back to the studio and pick your favorite digitals and order any additional digitals, prints, or holiday cards.
Most importantly get ready to have fun and be silly!
We will give you directions to keep the session moving, but what we really want to capture is your sweet family 😊
